What time do you get up and what does your Christmas Day consist of?

Children are adults now but this was our Christmas Day for many years.
Get up with children - not before 6:30/7:00
Have breakfast
Get washed & dressed
Walk dogs at park
Turkey in oven
Open gifts
Visit 2 x sets parents or 1 if a set are coming for Christmas dinner
Roast potatoes in
Turkey out
Cook rest of the dinner
Eat, drink and be merry

Play games
Dessert
More games
Film
Snacks
Bed

Ours usually looks like yours with the addition of a lot of chocolate!

This year we’re going away so it’ll look something like wake up, one small present each, fabulous breakfast, fabulous beach, fabulous food & cocktails, bed!

We are a family of five adults, four live in my household.
Adult DC and I get up about 8-9 , the adult DC open their stockings. DH gets up a bit later and picks up our other adult DC who lives 10 minutes away. Around 11 we open all the presents. I cook lunch throughout the morning, easy M&S stuff. We eat about 1. DH and I normally go for a walk after lunch but this year we may visit my DM who is moving to a care home. We drop my adult DS off at about 5 or so. In the evening we have cheese and biscuits, Turkey sandwiches, puddings, chocolates etc and watch TV at about 8.

Last year we went to my parents for breakfast and presents then to my boyfriends mums (plus his grandparents) for presents and lunch. By the time we got home we were all too tired and by the time baby was awake enough to do presents it was after tea time...

It's important for my boyfriend to see his mum on Christmas but last year was too much for me so this years plan is to go see them in the morning for an hour or two then my parents then hopefully be home by 1 at the latest 🤞 We're going to the cavery on Christmas eve so will probably just have something snacks for lunch and then hopefully a decent takeaway will be open for tea but if it's not I'll do a little buffet for tea and get a takeaway on boxing day 🤷‍♀️
