Secret santa BIL gift

CourtneeLuv · 18/11/2022 10:54

We do secret santa to cut down on how many people we are buying for.
I got my BIL, any idea for gifts £15 or under please?
I wanted to avoid the bland toiletries or socks as I only have to buy for him, one sister and my mum (as well as the kids and my DH) TIA!

What are his hobbies?? How old is he?

Without knowing anything about him: craft beer, something related to his favourite sporting team, nice coffee

CourtneeLuv · 18/11/2022 11:15

Sorry, I was multitasking.

He's 43, hes a personal trainer, he likes tea, so i was thinking a personalised mug and coaster?

I don't know what else he likes really, he's one of those people with no particular interests 😆

I think Amazon is doing their Echo Dot for about £15 but not 100% sure about the price. Could that be something you could get him?

WorkBltch · 18/11/2022 11:53

No, he won't have one of those in the house, i wouldn't either. They are specifically made to listen.

IWillBeWaxingAnOwl · 19/11/2022 20:34

£15 is low! If he's a PT does he have a good travel mug for his tea to keep it hot going client to client? Or if he does a fair bit of desk based work, how about one of those usb heated coasters to keep it hot?

CourtneeLuv · 19/11/2022 21:42

Not everyone in the family is made of money. Hence cutting down on the number of people we all buy for too Confused

£15 isn't much of a budget, maybe a decent water bottle for the gym?

IWillBeWaxingAnOwl · 19/11/2022 22:13

Sorry @CourtneeLuv I didnt mean to sound narky, more meant that it's an extra challenge for you!

Openmouthinsertfood · 19/11/2022 23:58

How about some posh tea from Whittards ?

TokenGinger · 20/11/2022 00:32

What about one of these? My DP is big into fitness and loves this for the gym. He also uses it for bed to listen to something as he falls asleep.

You can get some cheaper than this but we just bought his replacement one for around £10 (he stood on one of the ear pieces to his first) and he said this one was much better and more comfortable for bed.

If he likes tea, buy him some decent leaf tea of the variety he drinks

CourtneeLuv · 20/11/2022 08:09

I gave him a 1100 bag of pg tips one year before 😂

How about something like this?

CourtneeLuv · 20/11/2022 09:23

Yes that's nice, twinnings do a nice box set where you can pick the teas iirc, I looked at that for him me before.

I would get him a £15 voucher for a gym wear brand he likes. Then he can use it in the sales.

Anything else is a bit of a waste imo.

What a doughnut. I didn't even include the link.

i was going to suggest a personalised mug! You could also do a personalised calendar. I do one every year and love selecting the photos

CourtneeLuv · 21/11/2022 16:56

I'm trying to move away from 'things', and buy consumables or experiences etc, and cut down on clutter, sorry, I should have said that before.

At least some of these fidget pens are within your budget.

fidget pens

CourtneeLuv · 22/11/2022 11:46

Its cheaper if you got to the website direct rather then through not on the highstreet, too
