Help me plan 24 days of "Sidvent"...

Sidney is the Halloween decoration spider I stuck up in dd1's doorway last year, to make her jump 🤣

Sid has lots of adventures...his latest being toasting marshmallows at a firework display, on bonfire night.

I'm thinking of doing "Sidvent", so 24 easy to execute things for Sid to do, without straying too far from dd's door/bedroom, & easy enough for me to prep in advance of December when I'm home after work while the girls are still at school.

Any ideas? (It may not go to plan...but in my head seems a funny idea 🤷‍♀️)I've attached a photo of Sid below

Maybe see if you can adapt any of the Elf on the Shelf capers for a spider?🙂

Sid could...

1. Mull some wine
2. Make paper snowflakes
3. Play pin the star on the tree
4. Sneak some Christmas snacks
5. Build a snowman (out of cotton wool?)
6. Write some tiny Christmas cards
7. Make tiny paperchains
8. Decorate his home for Christmas using 2 and 7

Those are the ones off the top of my head, some easier than others...

Sid could:

• Wear a santa hat
• Write a letter to santa
• Knit a stocking
• Bake mince flies pies
• Eat all the mince pies and get fat (roll up some black tissue to make a belly)
• Go skiing / sledging
• Build a snowman with cotton balls
• Booby trap DDs door so cotton balls / snow falls on her when she opens it
• seal DD into her bedroom by sticking wrapping paper over the doorway so she has to burst through it like an 80s game show contestant

I'm sure there'll be lots of eye rolling over the course of Sidvent 🤣

Capture an elf in his web

Ooh, I like the idea of catching an elf in his web. Kill the little blighter Sid, kill.

Could Sid read some Christmas books.
Use a Christmas bauble as a space hopper.
Turn a Christmas bauble into a friend (stick eyes and legs on it).
A tinsel web.

I think I have an elf lurking somewhere that dd2 convinced their dad to buy last year, just before Christmas 🙄. IIrc, the only thing it did was take up residence on the alcohol shelf & stick a straw in the bottle of JD.

It's been hidden away ever since 🤷‍♀️
