What would your almost 3 year old love?

I have an almost 3 year old great niece. For various reasons I don't see her a lot but I am in touch with her Mum regularly and I always but her something for Birthday/Christmas.

I have already got her a few small things but looking for a 'main' toy or game for around £15.

Can anyone recommend anything that has gone down well with DCs of a similar age? My DCs are adults so it's been a while since I had to buy for a toddler!

A playdough set would be good

I saw a drill construction vehicle set in wilkos yday for £15 and thought it was an excellent present for a 3 year old. Trying to add a photo but currently not able to...

I have a nearly 3 year old and the thing I would see going down best with her would be a dressing up outfit. Also she may already have loads of the suggestions like a doctors set etc, and a dressing up outfit takes up little space which is at a premium in most of our homes!

Our 2.5 year old is going to get a play till. She also told me that Santa is going to bring her a doll in her stocking.

Thanks all. All great ideas. Looking forward to tomorrow’s trip to town now!

We had a board game called funny bunny when dd was that age and she really loved it for quite a long time.

Bought a teaset for my granddaughter's birthday, and it came with a bag, hat, cake stand, toy cakes, and some jewellery. Yes it's very girlie but she loves it! Amazon I'm afraid. Bit over your budget too - but there are lots of others, I just particularly liked the design of this one.

My nearly three year old would love dressing up clothes or a jigsaw!

My turning 3 in January dds favourite toy is a wooden birthday cake. £8.99 in Aldi. She has a set of dolls for a dolls house she plays with a lot, doesn't actually like the house though. She also loves books, and spends quite a lot of time drawing (or scribbling anyway)
