This is the only place I know I can come and be smug. Made dh take morning off and we wrapped all the stocking gifts and most the main gifts (still got a few to buy). Three kids and two of them have Nov/Dec bdays. Everything now wrapped and hidden away and listed on the spreadsheet. Am so pleased it's not hanging over me any more.

I've been thinking of doing this but it just seems too early for me 🤣 I don't have much left to buy so I could totally do it but I feel like it would feel too weird having nothing to wrap closer to Christmas 🤷‍♀️🤣

pinkksugarmouse · 16/11/2022 16:33

Well done 👏 I don’t like wrapping anymore. I have Rheumatoid arthritis and my hands are getting worse. Thankfully I haven’t had many to wrap.

DD’s 20th is November the 29th. I wrapped one but the others are sort of wrapped in their own way already. I have a Stitch gift bag to put the three small ones in.
I wrapped one of her Christmas presents. I only have two so just one to wrap.

I wrapped DH’s 2 books. Just his watch to get. DD is helping me choose it so she can wrap it.

We have treats for our hamster and no way am I wrapping them.

mypoorheart · 16/11/2022 16:33

I did all mine on Monday! Thrilled with myself!!

OldTinHat · 16/11/2022 16:43

I shall join you in your smugness! Finished mine yesterday and will be delivering them all this weekend 😁

gogohmm · 16/11/2022 16:45

Ok am I the only one who hasn't even worked out where we are having Christmas let alone thought about presents??? However I've booked new year's at least Grin

BigScreen · 16/11/2022 16:49

Well done !

I give mine in the amazon package they came in these days.

Ihavedogs · 16/11/2022 17:08

I wrap one recipient at a time and completed the first person today 😃

frozendaisy · 16/11/2022 17:22

Oh no far too soon for us. We like having a day towards end of term (kids at school), fairy lights up, classic FM playing Christmas tunes. It's part of our Christmas and doesn't take that long with a big table and all the necessaries.

MammaWeasel · 16/11/2022 17:51

We did ours yesterday too smug

MrsPicklesonSmythe · 16/11/2022 18:07

Yay, well done!

I did the bulk of mine yesterday and I'm so smug. I've never been this organised before and the bargains I've had thanks so the threads here!

ITSSSSCHRISTMASSS · 16/11/2022 18:08

So jealous! I want to do mine, I’m usually done by now but have been putting it off for various reasons. I was going to start this week but I need one of the suitcase I will be hiding them in for travel next week. I will have to wait until I’m back.

Mommabear20 · 16/11/2022 18:10

Mine have already been delivered! 😂 I'm not normally this organised but with baby #3 due any day now, I wanted them all out of the way! 😆 some people weren't too thrilled to get them this early though 🤷‍♀️

WaltonOnNaze · 16/11/2022 18:13

So thrilled not just me

I wrapped all mine last weekend, helped by the cat. I’ve just retrieved the sellotape roll from under the sofa. Thinking about writing my Christmas cards tonight and that’s me done. Feeling very smug and self-satisfied. 😀

livingthegoodlife · 16/11/2022 19:45

Well done. I haven't bought enough to merit wrapping it yet.

user573010482911233445559002281818484 · 16/11/2022 19:47

I wrapped all mine at end of October.

teaandtoastwithmarmite · 16/11/2022 19:48

I haven't bought any yet 😳

Ohmych · 16/11/2022 19:49

Well done I haven't even bought one present yet. I've got a lot of catching up to do.

BellaTheDarkOverlord · 16/11/2022 20:44

I went to b and m and got a few gifts and wrapping paper. However DH took car when I got home straight to his mums and I left everything in boot so mu

BellaTheDarkOverlord · 16/11/2022 20:45

Posted too soon...

My night of wrapping is in bin as he has everything with him 😀

A580Hojas · 16/11/2022 20:46

Hopefully no one in your family gives you a strong hint of what they'd actually like for Christmas between now and 23rd December.

InDreamland · 16/11/2022 21:05

Joining you in feeling smug! I finished wrapping all ours last week, we have a lot. Just 3 more people's to wrap, but waiting for them to be delivered. It's not much though and I'll probably do those a week or 2 before Christmas to give me a few to do to help get into the Christmas mood. Also written all my Christmas cards, so they're all ready to post/deliver.

overthehill7 · 16/11/2022 21:08

So jealous! Well done you.
This post have given me a kick to get everything sorted and organised!

NCcoziwannaNC · 16/11/2022 21:24

I started but got backache as i wrap on the floor. I find table too difficult!.. Dont ask!

But have got it all except, a tablet as waiting for black Friday
2 orders to arrive and something for 17 year old, if not he'll get cash.

Also got all food except pates cheeses etc ( not home for xmas or boxing day so no big food things to buy)

dormouses · 16/11/2022 21:30

What do you all do if DC ask Santa/write a list/change their mind nearer the big day? My DC haven't even thought about what they might want yet. Or do you buy what you think they might like? How do you stop yourself twitching for the next 6 weeks?!
