Halal restaurant for a festive lunch (London)

Hello, I'm looking for a restaurant for a festive lunch but it can't be a pub and also needs to be halal. Does anyone have a fairly inexpensive recommendation? TIA

Somewhere in the Edgware Road area like the Maroush chain including Beirut Express, Mohsen's in Earls Court, or cheaper, one of the halal Nando's like Queensway, Earls Court etc. Unless you prefer Turkish?

Nawaabs in London is good - buffet each as much as you want for about 25.00 I think - no drinks incl

Some of the regular restaurants in Westfield Stratford have halal menus like Las Iguanas, Cabana and The Big Easy. They do festive menus so there may be an overlap. I am knowledgeable because my neighbour is Muslim and we have a weekly lunch out in town (less frequent nowadays though!).

I know that the all-day menu at Dishoom is halal. I can’t find out online whether the Christmas menu is but it’s worth asking.

My Muslim friend tells me that some restaurants that aren’t usually halal will organise halal food on request. Worth phoning and asking.
