Travel jewellery case for necklaces and hanging earrings

DD loves wearing necklaces and at home has a jewellery tree to keep them untangled.
But she struggles to keep them safe when on holiday. Does anyone has a good idea how to store at least 5-6 necklaces safely?
Also, how can you store long earring? I only wear studs and we both have earring books but DD finds them not that good for longer ones.

@AutumnalLeaves38 The straw idea is great. We have some straight metal straws which may do the trick. The fabric rolls are what I was thinking off.
