Hello all,
I'm looking for a good local panto in the Berkshire area - has anyone got any recommendations?
Thanks so much!

Depends on your budget, Reading hexagon with Justin fletcher and Paul morse always good

As above, Reading is excellent especially for pre-school / early primary school. Or if Woking isn’t too far for you then they put on a very professional / funny pantomime every year and I love the theatre as it’s not too big and you get a good view wherever you sit.

If you want something a bit different The Watermill in Newbury is a gorgeous little theatre and are doing Rapunzel. They don't do it the traditional slapstick way though with big names telling bad jokes but they're always beautifully done.

The Theatre Royal Windsor is always nice for panto.

We went to the reading hexagon one last year and it was brilliant - very entertaining for 2 adults and a 6yo and 9yo, their first proper panto. Really good, we got front row seats which made it even more special.

Theatre royal Windsor seriously good fun

Windsor is brilliant if there are still tickets

We are booked in to see Aladdin at Henley. We are in reading so Hexagon is nearer but cant stand Justin!

Henley much cheaper as well.

I'm not a massive fan of the Reading hexagon one- but that's because 1) im not a fan of Justin Fletcher and it's literally all about him and 2) we go on a school trip there every year and its always the same jokes!!!!

This year we are going to the Wycombe Swan in High Wycombe. It's got Vernon Kaye in it

We went to the maidenhead panto at the leisure center last year and it was great and only paid £15 which is a bargain. It's Jack and the beanstalk this year.

South Hill Park in Bracknell always do a great panto. Not a celebrity cast, but very talented performers so it's always really good!
