We're doing presents for a shoebox appeal this year and have decided to do a box each for a teenage boy and a teenage girl. Budget is £15 per box and I'm not sure what to buy. I don't want to get tat but I don't have any teenagers in my life so I need ideas please!

Is it for a vulnerable child in the uk?

Shower gel, deodorant, socks, sweets and other haribo, pens and pencils, toothpaste and toothbrush, face wash, small game like a Rubik cube, socks, hat, gloves, mug, water bottle, travel Mug, moisturiser, lip balm, face mask (a skin one not a covid one), hairbrush, shampoo and conditioner, snuggle socks, headphones, hair stuff. Hot choc sachets, squash drops, marhsmellows, cake bars. Novelty items like juggling balls or balancing chairs, stress toy/ball. Mood octopus .

Can you put chocolate in it?

A bag of some sort is a good call. A drawstring one is a good idea too

Check who is organising first..... there are some "Xmas shoebox" schemes that are distinctly dubious (e.g. used to put out extreme messaging).

Thanks for all the ideas, I am going shopping on Saturday so I have a nice list now.
The bags are a good idea, it's for the Salvation Army so am assuming its UK kids.
