What's the best Ancestry /DNA test?

DP wants one for Xmas.

Also should I get him to do the test now and give him the results for Xmas or give him the box for Xmas with the test in? 😂

Ancestry is the one you want if you want to be able to grow your family tree by finding matches through DNA. If not, then it doesn't matter which one.

He has to do the swab and send it off and they email the results so I would just gift him the pack.
