Christmas top for 12 year old boy

I'm struggling trying to buy a Christmas top for a 12 year old boy this year so need some ideas! I usually get him one from Boden but he's probably outgrown them now. I'm trying to avoid ones with Santa on them as he doesn't believe any more and also trying to avoid other more young boy images (like dinosaurs or other animals).
I usually get him a top and not a jumper as I think he'd be too hot in a jumper.
Grateful for any ideas!

Next often do long sleeve Xmas t-shirts. I know my eldest has had some from there before. They also do Xmas sweatshirts which I think are not as hot as jumpers and easier to wear with nothing underneath. Not as posh as Boden, but try the supermarkets they usually have a good range of Christmas themed clothing.

Is he into anything in particular - you can often find themed Xmas tops like Star Wars or Minecraft etc.

@Notjusta I'm kind of put off buying from Next at the moment for a few reasons-delivery is £4.50 and returns are charged at £2.99. Also I can't pay using my debit card online and have to charge it to my next account and then get the bill over a month later. It's archaic! My local Next isn't great.

He's really into cars and rugby so not that easy to find a Christmas top with these features. He quite like Star Wars but not massively however I'll have a look for these.

Have you asked him or is it a surprise?

My DS would have happily worn something with Santa on it (still would now) at that age.😂 You may find he has firm ideas about what's suitable and what isn't.

With Next - get it delivered to your local store (free) try on in changing room's immediately, if no good return there and then (also free)

I've just bought my DH a gremlins top from Asda, they also had marvel and Star Wars and Simpsons.

On truffle shuffle they have coco cola, gremlins, stranger things, back to the future, Jurassic park, beetlejuice, nightmare before Christmas, marvel, Star Wars etc.

I’d recommend Hype clothing for teens/pre-teens. Got a few god children in this age bracket who all requested clothes as birthday gifts this year.

I bought this Christmas jumper for my son last year which he loves. He got it in a mens small but it does say you can email the vendor for kids sizes.

This is my husband's Christmas jumper which he also loves and it looks like it comes in kids sizes.

They might be a bit dull for some people but they both wanted something that was a Christmas jumper but subtle not overly loud and ticks the slightly 'cooler' box.
