Nike trainers for age 11 boy?

DS is year 6 and starting to take a bit more interest in clothes and what is more ‘cool’ (majority of stuff is still Next and Joules stuff, mountain warehouse trainers type thing!)

He has requested some Nike trainers for Xmas for day-to-day wear.

What are some acceptable styles? He is growing so don’t want to spend toooo much ££££

Second hand Air Force? Or if he's got kids size feet still, you may get them for a reasonable price?

The ones like air Jordan's but called court are cool with my year 6 son

My two boys love Nike shoes. They both have AF1s (one has black and the other white and the black ones definitely stay nicer for longer due to the white getting faded). They last really well. Also the oldest has Air Jordans, which he loves.

I was looking at those, seem to be very reasonable compared to the Jordan’s/Air Force 1s but worried they’re not ‘trendy’?

I have no idea about kid/teen fashion 😫
