Heated throw at low price recommendations

Hi, I'd love to buy my elderly dad a heated throw. I feel cautious about buying some of the cheaper ones off Amazon in case they have dodgy wiring.

Can anyone recommend or suggest one please?

Single size is fine.

Thank you

I have this one

www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09JK6YP4N/ref=pe_1572281_66412651_cm_rv_eml_rv0_dp

I've yet to put the heat above '5' and I don't have the heating on, yet. It has 9 levels and a timer and really easy controls, on off, high/low temp and time.

My dad visited a few months back and he loved it, he took it to bed with him.

It can be washed.

One thig to look for is if it plugs into an actual plug or it is a USB.

I have a Mia and coco one from Amazon. In grey with cream fleece. It’s warm just on its own!

It has 9 settings, washable. You can leave it on high and it will shit off by itself (in case you fall asleep).

It was around £40/£50. I bought the large size though which is a double- for my office chair. It goes under my butt and around my middle down to the floor and I absolutely love it!

My mum has a brown fur one from QVC which she loves and although she still has her heating on (poor circulation) she loves the soft, cosy feeling.

Hi @freckles20 Thanks for posting! Take a look at our Swears By article on the best heated throw blankets. It has been collated with the help of Mumsnet user recommendations and consumer reviews. Hopefully it's helpful, do let us know if it is.
