Bean bags for 10 and 9 year old boys?

Just wondering if anyone has any bean bag suggestions please?

I've seen the Big Bertha ones but they are a bit pricey.

Ideally we want seat type (I think!) but not so massive they couldn't go in their rooms/be moved about. Equally, don't want them too small as I'd like them to last 2-3 years as they grow (neither are that tall for their age currently though).

They had some when they were smaller but they completely lost their shape.

I'm not sure I'll be much help as I bought bean bags for DC age 6 and 10 (then 5/9)last Christmas and they have gone completely unused! I periodically move them between bedrooms and playroom but they just sit in the corner taking up space and getting dusty!
I think it depends when and how you think yours would be used? If for gaming, would a gaming chair get more use?

I do fear this too. One of them is currently on the living room floor in front of the tv. I think I could accept them sitting on a bean bag but not sure two gaming chairs in my living room would work!

Oh dear...!

I'd just ensure they have washable covers. DD has a beanbag that you can't wash (unless you wanted to try to move the loose beans into another bag to do so)

I'm getting some huge shaped cushions for DC from Dunelm. We've had beanbags before and they are a nightmare!

There is a company called Great Beanbags. Not cheap but really good and amazing customer service. My DS loves his.

@daffodilandtulip I'd look at other peoples reviews before you buy them. We have a couple, got them at Christmas last year. They don't keep their shape well. One has split in two places, and they both just looked worn and tired very quickly. They've been kept on the beds. I'm a bit disappointed with them.

@thestuffthatdreamsaremadeof oh wow! Thank you.
