What are fashionable brands for 18 yo boys?

Hi, I’d love to know what are the fashionable brands for 18 year old boys in the Uk. I want to get a nice hoodie- I’m not talking designer but something more branded than Next. Thank you!

There aren't any 18 year old boys here in the UK. There are 18 year old men though.

Why not ask the man in question what brands he likes?
Some young men like Adidas whilst others think it's chavvy shite.

TBH asos is your best bet and put in your budget..

Carhart, stone island, stussy would all be very welcome but are over 100 for a hoodie.

So it will depend on budgets.

My teenage boys wouldn't like "fashionable" as such. They like to fit in with their peers so wear a lot of Nike as it's considered acceptable by their peers and doesn't look try hard....

I think this is right. Brands are so tribal that it depends on what this is particular 18 year likes.

You need to ask the person in question as it varies so much.

For my son it's Nike, vans, hoodrich. None of them are cheap. He has chosen a few things from asos for a fraction of the price - going for design rather than label.

I'd go with super dry, that's what my ds likes, he's not massively into brands though. Its good quality.

Superdry round here is worn by middle aged men so wouldn't go down well with teenagers.

Shitty response. The vast majority of 18 year olds are still in 6th Form, they're not grown men.

Last Christmas DS 17 asked for a band merchandise hoodie for an obscure German band. If you can find out by stealth what he likes, otherwise go for neutral but good quality.

Unless the 18yr old in question will wear literally anything (v. unlikely!), it’s going to be next to impossible to take a punt on what clothing he might like. I have to have a link providing make, colour and size before I attempt a purchase. Wouldn’t dream of risking a surprise clothing pressie for an 18yr old!

My 18 year old DS wouldn't want any brand in particular. His favourite hoodie is a pale pink one he got for Christmas last year, he loves it because its super soft. No idea what brand it is. Not sure it's anything at all really.

He also loves one that's merch from his favourite YouTuber, and was sad when he outgrew his Tardis one.
He does have an Armarni one, but only knew it was "a brand" when my mum mentioned it

If someone bought him a Nike/Adidas/Superdry etc it would hang in his wardrobe until he secreted it into a charity bag.

Superdry would be a big no no here. Depends what DS is into, mine likes lots of skate brands (less well known names) so I often look in skate shops or online (googling what’s current).

Here it is Under Armour, Berghaus, North Face and Nike.

Definitely not superdry around here! That’s worn by 12/13 year olds and middle aged men.

Too risky for a brand or even a sports brand, if you absolutely must, get a plain grey or black one from asos.

Agree def not superdry. I think Nike would probably be the best bet. I'd be tempted to get from somewhere like jd sports with a gift receipt and they can swap it for something else if they wanted.

At 18 they're past having brands that suit everyone. My 18 year old would not want the ones other people have suggested. Get a voucher for ASOS.
