Have we had the "what are giving buying your husband/partner" thread yet?

Every year I devour the thread and there's always something that sparks an idea I'd never have thought of. I'm struggling this year and I've gone as far back on the old threads as the iPod days 😁

I like the whole replace something they love that's worn out, but I also like to get something unusual but that won't end up collecting dust. Previous winners have been a Thermagun mini (if he exercises) and a cheap projector. We have a small living room and therefore a small TV, but as a treat we set up the projector. It projects directly onto the (grey) wall and the picture is great. It's tiny though so doesn't take up precious space in the drawer.

I'd love to hear your non-pants and socks ideas and previous hits. 🍋✨️

A board game called Mysterium

I still don't know what to get him this year. In the past the big hits have been:

Lego, especially space related such as Saturn V rocket, Apollo lunar lander and Space Shuttle Discovery

A digital mapping product called Memory Map that he can install on laptop and phone. Plots a route on laptop then syncs to phone so we can follow when out walking.

A lock picking kit
Box set of the best of Old Grey Whistle Test.

I usually get him a Joules Rugby Shirt but he has already had that as I saw one in a sale at a Country Fair a couple of months ago.

Im getting him a triple supercar test drive thing, it’s on virgin experience days and should hopefully get a good deal on it with my blue light card on Black Friday discount.

I also want to get him a new black zip up hoodie, trying to find one that isn’t dead boring or £60!

I have bought an antique map - a bit niche but hopefully goes down well. Just need an ornate frame to put it in.

I'm yet to buy an aran jumper, Sauvage EDP, a charcuterie hamper, an ancestry membership and something geneology to go with it - no idea s he has had the dna kit already. Clarins gift set. Totally stuck beyond that though as he has a birthday too.
