Apparently the brand is "True Face"

The OnBuy are copies of the oodie design. Doesn't mean the 5poundstuff are fake. On buy is known for selling counterfeit goods.

We went through all this when they first came out on 5pound stuff in July. The 5poundstuff ones are genuine Oodie/Kuddly/Primark seconds/old stock. That is their business model, they buy overstock from companies, remove labels and sell cheaply. Pp in July confirmed this with them and Oodie customer services as well

@PeeJayDay I hoped so but reading the text in the snapshot provided above it says wine and cheese requires refrigeration. I hoped it was just white wine but it looks like the malbec box

Well I can't find an example of a grey "sky reindeer" oodie and the 5pound "moose" order confirmation calls it a "sky reindeer" exactly like OnBuy, who apparently specialise in counterfeit goods do.

They also sell the other "oodies". Fakes all of them despite convincing packaging on some of them

If it needs refrigeration I just dumb them in our wine/beer fridge our house's previous owner kindly left us. Anyway I was thinking giving Malbec to Dh as Xmas present but now I give as a pre-Xmas present so he can try them and if there is really good ones I will order from smashing grapes a full bottle for Xmas.

I don’t mind too much if my avocado “oodie” is fake because I’m not gifting it - hopefully it’s nice quality! My kids might disown me though 😀

Yeah if my otter one is a fake it won't matter, the kid won't care. I have two proper ones to gift to adults (bought on 241 oodie deal) Will compare with real when it arrives though and offer my opinion on genuineness...

My otter "oodie" is delivered tomorrow. If it has tags or otherwise resembles Oodie it's Ooodie!

Interesting the tie dye one is on there, maybe it does come with oodie branding.

My otter/cat arrived today and has all the Oodie packaging, ribbon etc. I haven’t opened it up to check thickness though as hoping to gift it. Also hoping the avocado and corgi ones I ordered on other days (paying multiple postage 🤦‍♀️) also have the right looking packaging. Corgi arriving tomorrow so we’ll see. I also ordered a panda kids one from Oodie directly as realised it was highly unrealistic to expect a 5 year old to fit an adult one so will report back on any packaging differences. Who knows!

I just received my Malbec tasting kit, sadly two of the pouches have leaked a bit. It’s not a problem as I just bought as a thing for me and DP to do together but you wouldn’t be able to tell from the outside of the box, just the inside.

Possibly been said already, but 5poundstuff have panda and reindeer now. Ordered both after missing out on the avocado.

(If anyone ordered an avocado and changes their mind, please let me know!)

My smashed grapes box came today too. Overall great but they need to work on the packaging. The stuff inside the cooler bag had leaked out and got on the cheese, and the crackers were smashed to smithereens. I was gonna order some as xmas gifts dependent on how it turned up but this has put me off. It's a shame because the concept is great.
