Play doh set for 3.5 year old

So I've done a search but can't see any recent threads asking this. I've been looking at the ice cream parlour set for my 3.5 year old daughter but reviews say it's quite hard for them to use and bits get stuck. Any recommendations for sets? Food seems quite a good bet but I'm open to anything!

I think the burger barbecue and the pizza sets are really good. We’ve had no problems.

Ice cream set is definitely hard, even my older ones 8 & 10 struggle with it. I can’t recommend any new ones as we haven’t bought a new ones for a while, but I’d avoid anything that involves pushing the play dough through anything as they can be quite hard.

The ice cream one is a nightmare. My 4 year old loves the hairdressers set and the oven one has had hours of play.

We got the ice cream set, was a bit limited, once you have made ice cream you are done and bored, and it is bulky. So we bought a drum with loads of tubs of playdoh, and lots of cutters, shapers moulds etc. Was reduced in tesco a few months ago. Much much better.
Amazon do packs of lots of colours, and you can buy tool kits, which gives much more scope for play. Or look for combo packs, with both in?

We have the pancake parlour which is quite a small kit. To be honest, my DS - who is a similar age - much prefers using cookie cutters to make shapes and making letters out of it. I just bought a box of mixed colours on Amazon and some small animal cookie cutters. He uses that far more than anything in the pancake set.

The dentist one is great. A few wee dentist tools and decay coloured and fillings coloured play doh.

The popcorn set got loads of play here. Definitely the one set that was used every time we got the playdoh out.

Burger set and hairdresser set were the most popular here.

But the hairdresser set does produce lots of tiny bits of dried playdoh that go everywhere.

Mine loves the hairdresser set.

If they're keen on Bluey or Peppa Pig they do sets where you can cut out shapes of the characters and their clothes/accessories. My 2.5 year old absolute loves the Peppa pig one.

It is worth spending time after they've finished playing, picking out the bits from any mechanical tools so they don't get all jammed up. But I'm a bit anal about playdoh and I don't let them mix all the colours together so maybe that's just me 🤣

Thanks all, liking the sound of the hairdressing and pizza sets!

Oh my three year old loves the ice cream plays doh set. He plays with it all the time.

DS(4) has the hairdresser one although it is a bit hard to push the chair down to grow the hair.
We’ve got him the vet one for Christmas as he loves animals and being a doctor!
