I usually do a stocking for dp instead of a present .
he is techy, into cooking, trains etc and I try to get something flirty too.
I am stuck this year as have done a lot of things already.

any ideas greatly appreciated.

If he has AirPods how about a fun cover for the case? There’s loads on AliExpress of various characters and themes.

My techy husband likes Rubik’s cubes and other puzzle toys to play with while he’s figuring stuff out at work.

spice or recipe boxes might be nice for someone into cooking - or a new cookbook? Alternatively some nice equipment- eg my husband loves making a Sunday roast so I got him the Joseph Joseph carving board one Christmas.

Great ideas thank you @SBAM

Not flirty but have his toenails suddenly gone thick now he’s turned 50?
I just ordered heavy duty clippers from tweezerman for my DH’s stocking.
I know how to treat a man 😂

Don't know what your budget is, but has he got a zester like this? They are brilliant.

CoffeeChocolateWine · 06/11/2022 11:50

I'm not sure what kind of budget these 'stocking fillers' are if it's also instead of a main gift?

Nice coffee/tea bags
Miniature tipple of choice
Nice glasses
Thermal socks/welly warmers
Nice gloves
Book
Spicery box
Gift card to a fav shop
Slippers
Nice toiletries
Chocolate
Christmas coal
Wallet
Framed photo
Whisky stones
Cuff links/tie pin
Food/snacks
Novelty apron
T-shirts
Boxers
Aftershave
Multi tool
Nice pen
Some kind of game

My DF is a big fan of trains so we've bought of a few train-related gifts over the years...does he have a model railway? Maybe an addition to that if yes? Train drivers cap and whistle, train station sign (maybe for wherever you live or a special place?), train station style clock, book on classic trains, train experience tickets or to a train museum, ticket to ride game.

@HannahDefoesTrenchcoat i got some of those last year and he loves them. We do know how to treat out men .

Some suggestions thanks. No real budget but I like to buy a lot of small things like nice shower gel , socks etc and a few more expensive items.
I have been doing this for a few years and he absolutely loves opening the gifts over Xmas morning . I am a bit stuck this year as I have got already a lot of the stuff that is being suggested. It would be cheaper to buy 1 main gift but he enjoyed it so much I feel I can’t stop now.

He always buys me lovely gifts too

We do read, eat, drink, do , use , wear for our stocking so only 6 items for £50.

A book/food/drink/game/tool/clothing don't get too much of anything then

Does he like cooking? Can Recommend a few 'manly' cook books that dh likes.

PamelaBanisha · 06/11/2022 12:04

He does cooking / meat smoking etc for a living so has all the fancy chef things. I have bought him nice apron etc but cook books etc he has and can get through business.

Just read about sheepskin insoles on another thread: male recipient was really pleased with them. Not techy, but comfy.

The London transport museum has nice gifts for train enthusiasts. Got some nice socks in the tube upholstery pattern (Barman moquette). Also for a tube quiz book for another year. (For kids but he likes it)

An edible chilli plant went down well as he grew the chillis and used in his curries.

Canadian shirt for when he was outside doing the smoking/bbq.

Smoked rum maybe an idea?

Leatherman?

Nice (more than you pay for yourself) phone case or a MagSafe charger etc.

Decent travel cup/flask

Port and cheese from a deli

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 06/11/2022 12:23

Asda have got some nice chunky black and white initial mugs in at the moment.

GiantPiggyCages · 06/11/2022 12:29

Consumables for cooking? Fancy mushrooms , truffles, flavoured salt etc

decent coffee from somewhere like algeriancoffeestores.com/

PassThePud · 06/11/2022 12:50

What about some meat shredding claws?

TherebytheGraceofGodgoI · 06/11/2022 21:21

If he likes tech and cooking what about a meater
meater.com

PamelaBanisha · 09/11/2022 20:35
