Has anyone used/bought one of these? This would be a cute addition to DS's stocking if it's any good.

Fairly sure you could get someone with a 3d printer to make one for you!

Who knows someone with a 3d printer???

Also people dont tend to exploit their friends.

  • You would need the design/measurements and it would probably cost more in running cost and supplies than the £3.09 on Amazon

Ah sorry, perhaps that was an assumption. I have some quite "techy" friends.

For information, the local "hackspace" known as "maker space " in other places has one members can use, for a small membership fee.
There's a website Thingiverse where designs are freely shared.

But yes for that price on Amazon worth a shot!

Thank you both. I'd love to know someone with the skills and equipment to make things like this @Washaday. Actually, I do know someone with the skills (no 3D printer of his own, sadly) but it's DS himself 😂. It's fantastic that you can access a collective of people willing to share their knowledge and skill. I'm part of something similar revolving around knitting and crochet and it's nice to help others.

I think I'm going to order it. It may be rubbish but at £3ish it's not going to break the bank. I'm wary of buying tat but he's a teenager who certainly doesn't want a stocking filled with dull stuff.
