Ideas for a 16 year old boy

Who also has a birthday in December!

He's, annoyingly, just bought himself FIFA23 so I'm totally stumped.

Any ideas please?

What’s he into? (Other than FIFA!)

AbbyGal · 30/10/2022 19:14

Cricket but has everything related to it!
Moping around the house
Sporadically groaning loudly 😂

He has an older brother so we've got books and games coming out of our ears!

I guess we'll go with clothes but I was hoping someone would have a brilliant idea!

How about some 'young driver' lessons for under 17s. I got my daughter some one Christmas- they went down well.

Leftittothelastminute · 30/10/2022 19:18

Just seen that he has a birthday in December so might be a bit pointless if he's going to be 17!

CoffeeBeansGalore · 30/10/2022 19:18

Depending on budget:
A drone?
Do you have room for an archery kit?
Hover board?

BigSandyBalls2015 · 30/10/2022 19:18

A great speaker like sonos or similar

CoffeeBeansGalore · 30/10/2022 19:20

If he's turning 17, driving lessons & highway code/theory test dvd.

Fivemoreminutes1 · 30/10/2022 19:22

Table top air hockey
Driving experience
Gaming magazine subscription
Toastie maker
Gym bag
Lego Architecture
Diesel Master Chief watch
Fisher space bullet pen

AbbyGal · 30/10/2022 19:35

He's going to be 16 in Dec.

Great ideas, thank you, please keep them coming.

The new COD?

Perfectlystill · 30/10/2022 19:56

F as I have the same issue

Nadal · 30/10/2022 19:58

Mine just got new call of duty.

Not sure on what to get for Christmas. Probably trainers or clothes. Maybe a new gaming chair.

Nadal · 30/10/2022 20:11

Tickets for cricket match next year

OakleyStreetisnotinChelsea · 30/10/2022 20:25

Mine will be 16 in Jan so same issue

He wants a new oodie type thing as his is getting a big small, a watch (normal analogue, has a garmin somewhere but can't wear that at school and def not for gcse exams), some switch games, an enclosed terrarium, new headphones as his are battered, a couple of lego sets (display type stuff not play type stuff) plus some little bits that will go in his stocking (posh marshmallows, sd card). Trouble is various relatives will steal most of those ideas!

Howmanysleepsnow · 30/10/2022 23:53

Mini fridge?
gym membership?
spotify subscription?
bluetooth speaker pillow or shower speaker?

AriettyHomily · 31/10/2022 00:02

Tickets for something or cash, can't beat cash at that age. Mine want Nike dunks, air pods and Lemieux stuff, they can pool their resources.

TheSausageKingofChicago · 31/10/2022 00:26

Mini fridge for this room and cans of American pop to put in it.

caringcarer · 31/10/2022 01:02

Get him a few 1-1 sessions at good indoor cricket school with county coaches. My foster son goes to Edgbaston Indoor school for 1-1 coaching and loves it. Gets to use bowling machines too. You can hire a lane and bowling machine with personal coach for about £40 for an hour but if you want you could have 2 or 3 children in lane for same price.

caringcarer · 31/10/2022 01:04

Have also given him tickets for Birmingham Bears and Birmingham Phoenix before too. Test match Asches tickets for the Saturday or Sunday, adding he has someone he could go with.
