DH and DSS (15) have late November birthdays, and are hard to buy for. This year we are on holiday, which seems to be making it harder! We've bough everything for DSS bar a couple of small gifts - which leaves us totally at a blank for Christmas! Both get DIY advents DH a beer one and DSS an instant noodle one. Any wonderful gift ideas for the men in your life (both football mad, as you can see from the list)

Four four two subscription is a great idea! Would the digital one be any good? We don't live in the UK !

I should think it’s absolutely fine if he has a good device to read it on.

My sons birthday is 15th December. So for his birthday we normally do a couple of gifts, a day out or experience day (could be theatre/concert tickets for your husband) and then normal gifts for Xmas.

OperaStation · 28/10/2022 07:40

Jesus, that’s a very long list of birthday presents! Have you always spent so much on them? No wonder you’re all out of ideas.

I would split that list in half and give half for birthday and half for christmas and it would still be extremely generous.

Forgot to add -
Arctic monkeys T-shirt for DSS Christmas, we bought him tickets to see them in January. I wanted to keep the tickets as a gift but DH 'couldn't wait' apparently and told him 🤣
