Mincemeat - what could I do with a jar of it?

I found a jar of nice mincemeat from last Christmas and I was looking for ideas of what I could make with it please (excluding the obvious mince pies)? I wondered if anyone makes anything particularly nice from
scratch with mincemeat.

Omit the dates, use a couple tablespoons of mince. Don't compact the base too much. Delicious!

I love mincemeat slices.

Use a crumble mix and press half of it into the bottom of a lined/oilef flapjack tin and press it down hard so it's a solid flat layer.
Spread a jar of mincemeat over it.
Sprinkle the other half of the crumble mix on top and leave it impressed and crumbly.
Cook for about 20 mins at 180/190 until golden.
Cut into slices once cooled.

They can be frozen too.😊

Equivelnt to squashed fly biscuits but with mincemeat. Very flat, very thin layer of mincemeat. Easy peasy and yum.

Spread over cooking apples, add crumble topping and bake. Lashings of custard.

I was gonna say add to crumble too. Stick it in your porridge as well. With brandy butter. 😁

I can confirm that Delia’s mincemeat slices are delicious. Mince pie meets flapjack but light. Made with spelt flour and oats so healthy right? 😉

use it to stuff baked apples

Stir a spoonful into porridge.

Mix 1/2 the jar into a cheesecake. It's delicious!

I'm tempted to vtry it in Queen off puddings, putting cinnamon in the custard a layer of mincemeat then the meringue. Problem is I'm the only one that likes it all

this , using mincemeat in the middle instead of raspberries.

Lovely with the raspberries and a raspberry coulis at the right time of year too.
Such a quick recipe to make which is a bonus.

Stir into a good quality vanilla ice cream with the alcohol of your choice. Mincemeat ice cream.
