What to buy for DS's partner ( who is pregnant)

I'd like to make up a pamper basket for my DS's partner who will be around six months pregnant at Xmas. So far I've only got a cute t-shirt and a hot cloth cleanser and I'm stuck! She like candles and has beautiful skin and hair....Is a bit "gothy" and my mind has gone blank trying to think of suitable gifts.
Any ideas?

A nice lip balm

Chocolate truffles

Cashmere socks

Does she like Gin? I was given a Seedlip non-alcoholic “gin” when I was pregnant, which was very nice.

A nice make up bag

I have a few nice pairs of earrings from this Etsy shop here

Oh thank you! Especially liking the cashmere socks.

The etsy earrings look lovely...I wouldn't mind some of those myself.

Holly McNish nobody told me book of poems.

(I really wanted someone to buy it for me, dropped hints left right and centre, but had to buy it myself for my first mother's Day!!)

Take a look at My Little Coco, they do a bump sheet mask, bump balm etc… otherwise, face and hair masks, bubble bath, nail polish. Voucher for a local coffee shop (nice treat before baby arrives or much needed caffeine after!).

White Company socks 👍

JeanMarie · 23/10/2022 20:25

@PronounsBaby thank you. I'd forgotten she also is an avid reader so I'll definitely order that. Just wondering now if there is an equivalent for a first time dad.

A good dishwasher proof water bottle. One that doesn't leak and has a flip lid or easy one hand open system. She'll be very happy for it when baby is here.

Oh there is! Someone got it for DH, I read it too and we both laughed a lot. I preferred it to 'nobody told me'

Sorry should have added more info! It was called Dummy and written by a Dad. I enjoyed it a lot during night feeds

@tirednewmumm Brilliant! Thanks....it's in the Amazon basket now. 😁 Just read a few reviews of it.

A food subscription voucher they can use when the baby is here. A week of not having to think what to eat would have been my dream.

JeanMarie · 23/10/2022 20:52

@Lalanbaba excellent idea! It's 34 years since I gave birth and I still remember the sheer joy when a very thoughtful friend prepared some oven ready meals for us.

Whataretheodds · 24/10/2022 09:21

Are you also buying parenting stuff for your son? If not, buy his partner stuff for her.

JeanMarie · 24/10/2022 09:35

@Whataretheodds I'm buying them both practical things for the baby and also little individual gifts for themselves, not all pregnancy related.

How about a silk pillow case? My husband got me one for Christmas last year and I love it!
