Helmet for 5 year old

Can anyone recommend a suitable helmet for a soon to be 5 year old please?
I'll be getting him a go cart for Xmas and one of those boards that they scoot themselves along on. Then a bike for his birthday. I have no idea what to go for! I'll get some knee and elbow pads too.

Thanks all!

Helmets differ everywhere. You ideally need to take him and have a helmet fitted.

Smyths, Halfords and bike stores all sell helmets

Yep. Worse than useless (ie downright dangerous) if not correctly fitted.

I wouldn’t get,one as a surprise, it needs to be one they like enough to wear. As for where to get one, any reputable bike shop with a trained fitter will be fine.

I hadn't thought of getting one properly fitted, thank you for this advice!
