I'm being asked what to get him and I can't think what he needs and has everything he would like already.

Mine loved marble runs at that age. Also Lego (but the bricks you create your own design not the create a specific thing ones), guess who, pop up pirates, stickers, bath bombs.

Playmobil police or fire station
RC car

Role play work bench
Dressing up clothes
Orchard Toys games
Orchard Toys giant road floor puzzle

Has he got Magformers? Our 4 year old is obsessed with the set we got him last year so I just ordered him another set for this Christmas.

Also things like puzzles, more plain lego, extra trains and bits for his train set and cutters for his clay. I've basically looked at everything he currently loves and I'm buying him additions to it.

Neednewfloor · 23/10/2022 16:49

Magformers are a good call actually thanks

Oh gosh I need this thread! My 4 year old just had a birthday in September and I can’t think of anything!

BertieBotts · 23/10/2022 16:59

Mine would like

A forklift truck with pallets
A car transporter (he already has one but wants another)
Two connecting trams
Even more brio add ons (brand unimportant)
A scooter like that you can do with one foot
Anything with a picture of Paw Patrol on it
Playmobil is also a new favourite
Dressing up stuff

EcoCustard · 23/10/2022 18:12

Ds is 3.5 and has most stuff from siblings he specifically wants:
a potato harvester
combine harvester
Schleich farm (his playmobil 1,2,3 is too babyish apparently).
box of cars that are his, not big brother’s.
car garage
and lots of smarties.
He is getting a new farm, some of the above bits to go with farm, Hungry Hippos game, jellycat toothy fox and a stocking with a few bits.

My daughter is 5 and likes:
Playmobil
Lego
Magformers
Dressing up clothes
Hot Wheels
Science kits
Face paint

CoodleMoodle · 23/10/2022 18:23

DS is 4 and has most things from or shared with DD, so it's hard.

He loves Hot Wheels/vehicles and Lego. We get him the 4+ Lego sets and he can do them by himself, so we're considering a couple of small 5+ sets for Christmas. Plus a few Hot Wheels sets to add to the collection!

mrsed1987 · 23/10/2022 18:32

We have got

Lego (pretty much all superhero)
Spiderman things
Pop up pirate
Marble run
New trainers
Dinosaur egg digging
Worm world
Lots of book
We are getting him a bike also

shreddednips · 23/10/2022 18:57

Marble run is a good shout, mine is obsessed 😁

Playmobil is always a hit, last year we got him the zoo and family members got him some of the animal packs.

Mine's just got into board-type games, the orchard ones are great. Shopping List and Dino-Snore-Us are particular favourites, I've got him a couple more for Xmas.

Playdoh always needs replacing in this house, maybe a big multipack of that?

Violet1988 · 23/10/2022 19:00

My nearly four year old boy is getting:
Magna tiles
Playdough and cutters
Characters from favourite TV show and house
Playmobil school
Walkie talkies

17caterpillars1mouse · 23/10/2022 19:27

Microphone with stand and disco light

Playdough set - there is a minions one which looks good or a bluey set depending on interests

Playmobil - apparently the campervan is a good starter set

There are some cute Mickey mouse themed junior Lego sets for 4+, a campervan, fairground set, castle etc

Glow pad
