What's cool in make up brushes/sets for mid teens?

Hello all,

I'm looking to buy some make up brushes and possibly a set for my mid teen girl. Are there any cool brands? I think I've heard of urban decay...is that good?

Any deals would be gratefully received too.

You can’t go wrong with real techniques for brushes but look around as there are often bigger sets with decent offers.
Urban decay or morphe are good places to start yes.

Actually superdrug have got some great offers on. There’s a super set reduced from £60 to £30 and they have a big one get one half price on smaller sets. Depends how much you want to spend really.
Also spotted their real techniques advent calendar reduced from £80 to £30!

Real Techniques definitely for brushes and sponges. I use these and they're really good.

For makeup I'd say Urban Decay, Mac, Fenty, NYX, Too Faced, Benefit etc.

For some cheaper brands that are still quite good I like Maybelline, Elf, Barry M, certain Rimmel products.

Revolution makeup can be really good for sets at a decent price and the makeup is decent enough quality. However, check reviews first as some of their stuff isn't very pigmented.

Spectrum Collections, she would be thrilled to bits!

Zoeva also make gorgeous brushes, and often picked up quite cheaply in TK Maxx.

Spectrum are better looking but aren’t quite as good as real techniques. I got a great sponge set from home bargains actually, tk maxx sometimes have great offers too!
