DD is an animal biology student and is slightly obsessed with frogs 🐸

She's also very eco conscious so tries to avoid buying plastic where possible, and she likes a fairly minimalist living space so ornaments etc don't go down well!

I'm looking for a preloved (to avoid new plastic) one of those frog tiddlywinks type games where you flip the frogs into a 'pond', because that doesn't take up much space and I imagine will go down a storm with a student house full of pissed teenagers 😂 And also sponsoring a frog for her via a charity, but all other froggy suggestions very welcome!

Kermit tees or hoodies, I have several, including Kermit themed addidas trainers! (slightly obsessed! - see username)

I have a hoodie that says "it's not easy being green" which is Kermit's catchphrase which would fit in well with DD's eco credentials.

F&M have this, which isn't cheap but is pretty spectacular. Obviously you would need to check the expiry date as it is a Halloween product.

What is it with frogs ATM? DD has always loved them (her dad does too, and toads) but recently it's really ramped up and it seems to be a bit of A Thing now?

DD is 18 and recently came home from a trip to Glasgow with a fluffy frog hat and a strawberry scented Build a Bear stuffed frog (you don't have to add the scent though.)

I'll see if I can find out what company the hat is from if you'd like but I'm sure a Google would find many of them too. It definitely seems to be an "in" thing at the moment which does make gifts easier to find. I might actually steal a few of these ideas for DD for Christmas.

I have many frog trinkets as I also am a lover of the frog, but minimalist they are not. I do have a great enamel pin badge on my bag, though, of a grumpy frog giving people the finger. Or a finger. Hard to tell, but he does make me laugh.

I have a frog necklace, it originally came from Argos many years ago so I doubt they still have it but you could probably find something similar online.
