Is anyone tempted to just give mostly cash this year?

I don't know what to buy people / children and the budget available doesn't stretch too far:

Is anyone else considering just putting cash in a card and being done with it?

Cash is the best gift (apart from gifts that you chose and you wanna get 100%). My mum stopped trying to please us, she just makes bank transfer 😂

Pretty much - mostly vouchers. Give nephews on DH side a tenner each- considering doing 10 scratchcards this year instead 🤣

For non immediate family teens, I give cash wrapped round a little something. Last year it was hot chocolate ‘bombs’, which apparently went down well.

I’d rather we just scrapped presents, other than for very close relatives. But my kids are teens/20’s now and appreciate money instead, alongside the usual socks and aftershave.
