Which vouchers for uni students?

I buy for several relatives who are in their early 20s. Budget only £25 each so thought a gift card for some sort of food outlet? Or is there a gift card that would be better? I don't live in the U.K. so best if it can bought online in e-voucher form. Thanks

The universal purple and blue vouchers ie cash!

I never buy vouchers due to them being a total loss of a business goes under, cash all the way

FleeUpFreeTime · 09/10/2022 21:25

just eat

tattychicken · 09/10/2022 21:27

Costa / Starbucks?

CuteCillian · 09/10/2022 21:28

Café Nero

I'd go for Just Eat, Costa, Starbucks, Greggs - theme of food!!

You can get the One 4 All gift cards from the post office (pretty sure you can order online aswell- just type into Google) which can be used in various restaurants and shops :)

Don’t get that one it’s awful - horrible to use and they start charging after a period. Avoid like the plague.

just est

or just cash

Skala123 · 10/10/2022 05:28

Thanks all. Just eat sounds like a plan. Don't want to do cash as I don't want to have to transfer to six different bank accounts and don't want to send it through the post either!

I also think Amazon vouchers are useful - there's plenty they can buy with these

That's actually a really good shout. Not sure why I didn't think of it!

Don't bother with One 4 All, these are awful, as others mentioned, they start charging after a month or so. Heard so many people complaining about them. Just eat is much better.

Could be also software subscriptions, like professional slideshow makers or video editors if they use it for their studies.

Amazon vouchers are a great call.

TabascoAddict · 11/10/2022 10:41

Came here to suggest Amazon but someone beat me to it. Easiest.

PAFMO · 11/10/2022 12:04

Costa, any other coffee outlets, the Restaurant card, Waterstones, Boots, any food places, Ryanair, etc etc.
Supermarkets too. M&S for special food treats that they probably wouldn't buy for themselves.

moimichme · 12/10/2022 19:22

Definitely supermarkets if you know which are near them. They may not have ability/means to travel far, but with food costs going up they'd surely get good use of it. I suppose Amazon Fresh / Morrisons is an option for them if you did buy Amazon e-gift cards.

Jfw82 · 12/10/2022 21:21

Another one saying Amazon or maybe just eat- def not one4all as they're very difficult to spend even though they look great (having had myself and kids on receiving end!)
