Adult advent calendars

I usually get a beauty advent calendar instead of chocolate but nothing is taking my fancy this year.

Can anyone recommend one, please? I don't know what I want. Something nice.

What’s your budget? Do you prefer skincare, makeup, hair stuff, candles etc?

Probably about £100. Not candles.

I usually get the Glossy Box one or the Clinique one, but they're samey each year.

My mum usually buys it for me and she's 71. I find the thought of requesting that one hilarious, but she will not.

I do believe boots have a sex toy advent calendar this year 😉

I'm obviously not a very good adult because I am torn between the Playmobil one with the wild animals or the Baby Born one that you end up with 2 adorable outfits.... for Baby Born obviously 😂

Guessing from the product description they are Nipple clamps and can be safely worn for up to 10 minutes at a time.

Wonder did the product tester try for 11 minutes and find it got a bit......ahem.... nippy.

Do you need to set a timer on your phone to make sure you take them off in time?

I've seen the Mac one and looks good. Flannels and John Lewis have had good reviews

I will go back to the basic and look for a really nice chocolate one.

I had tea, wine, beauty, jam and most were meh. It feels most companies don't really bother making an effort to do something exciting and new because they know people will buy them.

I've never been impressed with an adult advent calendar - I've gone back to having a picture one now. Last year I got a Sherlock Holmes puzzle calendar, which I liked.

Thank you @GettingStuffed I think they're out of budget, though.

I'm thinking the same @reluctantbrit maybe the Chocolonely one.
