My DC aren't old enough to do this until next year but I always like to see how easy it is to get tickets for things so that I'm prepared for when the time comes! This year I kept on checking their website and no tickets were showing, I've just gone on again and they're sold out. Is there anywhere to sign up to get advanced notification of when tickets go on sale? I thought I'd signed up to F&M but don't seem to have had an email. Any tips greatly appreciated

They sell their tickets through Eventbrite so if you sign up to Eventbrite you can follow Fortnums. Then when tickets are released for something they notify you.

I had been stalking the Fortnums Santa page for a while after I read about it on here.
They released loads and loads of days and times and I got notifications quite a few times that there were tickets available.
They came out around mid Sept I think so if you sign up and get ready about then next year I’m sure you’ll be able to get tickets.

If the booking is through Eventbrite my tip would be to log on before the time that they say they'll go on sale, and be logged on to two devices like your phone and laptop. Haven't booked fortnums but have booked Fenwicks santa on the roof top via eventuate and this has helped me get tickets secured. Every year with fenwicks when they go on sale there's are at least 10,000 others in a que and many try year after year to get a coveted ticket and every year their Facebook is full of complaints about this booking system. I don't know if Fortnums is the same bit thought I'd mention it.

Thank you for the advice, unfortunately the Fenwicks one also sounds great so it's another one I'm going to have to add to the list 😀. I'm surprised I hadn't heard about that one!
