Christmas jumpers

I'm finding these have got so expensive. Even places like Asda are pricey. I need 2 , as I know they always have christmas jumper day at school. I've looked on ebay for second hand ones, but nothing so far . Does anyone have any recommendations? I begrudge anymore than £10-15 for something they wear a handful of times and grow out of .

I've already got DS' Christmas jumper from vinted. It cost me 3 quid 😅 (5 including postage). It's still in brilliant condition too.

If you have time could you suggest to the school they set up a take/leave table and ask everyone to bring in outgrown Christmas jumpers.

@Sprogonthetyne
Blinding idea - we need more of this kind of thinking in these difficult days!

Don’t forget the charity shops, I donated ds outgrown Christmas jumper the other day.

Definitely look on Vinted. I got my son's jumper already on there. A Man City one for £2!

Charity shops are your friend here

I never bought my dc Christmas jumpers. They are a deeply unecological waste of money. Instead, for CJD at school they would choose a top or jumper from their wardrobe and I would tack tinsel on it to their design.

Our school regularly does a secondhand sale of Christmas jumpers at the Christmas Fayre. Parents donate outgrown ones, and the PTA sells them for a pound.

At my daughters school, the head has said they will provide blank T-shirts for every pupil to decorate and wear over their school uniform.

I will be putting one on Vinted soon. Boys XBOX one, I believe age 10 but will need to check. Feel free to let me know if you are interested
