Craft kit for 15 year old DD

Every year since she was about 3, DD has had a craft kit to do in Christmas morning while I cook lunch, usually something from The Works. Even though she is now 15 she is keen to carry this on. Any ideas for a suitable kit?

How about a miniature kit?

This company are local to me and the lots are fantastic:-

They do charm bracelet kits, needle felting, crochet animals etc. I think they sell through John Lewis, Dobbies and other national retailers.

Decoupage?

I picked up these mini cross stitch kits in Hobbycraft the other day 😊 thought they’d make lovely little stocking fillers and were a great price!

They also had some lovely ceramic painting kits 😊

Search trimits kits on Etsy. There's loads of nice kits and they are easy to follow.

I got a needle felting kit from Stab The Fluff last year, it was wonderful, I really felt like I’d accomplished something.

Fused glass kit! Make a beautiful decoration, Christmas themed or otherwise. I've done a couple of the kits from this shop and they are great, there are some on sale today too:

Latch hook kit? My 15 year old has recently got back into it.

Have a look at Rolife DIY craft kits on Amazon, some are quite pricey but they’re often on offer, I think they look fab & tempted for my DD

My DD, also 15, has asked for a book nook on her list this year. There are lots to choose from, this one is pretty expensive but there's a variety of prices. Look fun to make and v cute on your shelf after it's finished.

I always think the mini mosaic kits in Hobbycraft look cool and they are currently discounted to £4

The Eugy 3d animals look fun

I keep looking at this website and thinking of ordering as these look lovely. They have a clearance section too

Oh, I spotted today a rock painting kit for £8. I was tempted to get it for myself, tbh :) The box showed mandalas type designs.

I saw a few in home bargains the other day. There was a macrame wall hanging and some punch needling which looked good

WorriedMillie · 02/10/2022 20:45

Artcuts do some lovely kits. We discovered them at a craft show a few years back and they are one of our go-tos for craft bits!

Lovemusic33 · 06/10/2022 19:25

Dd likes these theearlyteacher.com/eugy-chameleon/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=PMax-Shopping-StarterPPC&utm_agid=&utm_term=&utm_matchtype=&creative=&device=c&placement=&gclid=Cj0KCQjw-fmZBhDtARIsAH6H8qi44iDrcfspbVu41knR2Q9uYXBt0VeuguTllDNcLDKwEwG9TTeuIq4aAp4NEALw_wcB

Also the diamond art pictures (though they take a while to do).

Needle felting is fun, also keep an eye out in Aldi as they often have craft kids such as knitting/crochet and macrame.
