He likes Minecraft but won’t wear a dressing gown , only likes the game . I’ve got him some books on it and some swimming trunks , a water bottle . some other books I think he will like me reading to him . A couple of Lego sets . This I think will be from Santa , but I’m looking for other ideas people may have . I’ve also noted down scratch cards from another thread as that sort of thing interests him

What about Minecraft bedding?

Titsflyingsouth · 30/09/2022 21:10

Does your son have any sensory needs that are worth leaning into? We bought my son a box of fidget toys last year and he's played with them constantly all year. Other sensory gifts that have gone down well have been:

Furry Oodie
Soft toys

Sorry - posted too soon!

Also:
slime
Bubble lamps
Oil timers
Headphones

Our son also tends to like things that are not typically toys. Last year he got a pocket torch, which he loved. And this year he wants a label maker and tape.

I think he might like some fidget toys . And the bedding is also a good idea

My similar age ASD son has enjoyed a Rubik’s cube and a little tin of putty for recent presents. Minecraft magazine subscription?
