Hi what are you all getting your 16.5 year old girls this year for Christmas? I’m looking for ideas please

I'm waiting to see what else she asks for to add to this, but she'll get new pyjamas & chocolate etc too.

Selfridge's London ready voucher ( manicure and brows) to go with her adult sisters

Sweets and Charlotte tilbury bits in her stocking

I'm not doing any fillers or stuff she hasn't asked for this year - a few higher end items not loads of "bits" I think she'd like which are a waste.

I was so confused by the title, I thought this was about gifts that were 16.5 years old 😂

My daughter is 17 but close enough. She is unusual as she always says she doesn't really want anything. I've given up on makeup or nice smelly things. So I get a few clothes (so far I've got her pjs with cats all over as she loves them) and art stuff. She did mention recently she's like a necklace but hasn't responded to any I've suggested. Cash is always possible (she doesn't want that either- strange girl)! Her brother however always has a long and expensive list!

Does the 0.5 make a difference to their age?

Mine has asked for a pink Juicy Couture hoodie and a Pandora ring.

Actually you’ve just reminded me I picked up a couple of Victoria secret bits from the next sale too

So far...

• A weaving kit to make a wall hanging
• A photo of her and her friends that I took secretly of them all sitting on a wall and laughing – I've got it turned into an arty line drawing and framed it
• A cosy cashmere beanie
• A beautifully bound old hardback copy of her favourite book from when she was small (found it in a bookshop in Paris this year and snapped it up)
• A voucher for her and a friend to get a manicure together at this weird salon she thinks is cool (it's all fancy decor and not much substance but she'll love being in there)

I'm going to get a fancy hot chocolate kit to top it off and that'll be it.
