Can anyone recommend some fabric pens?

I had the fab lab screen printing down as an idea for 8yr old dd. But having watched the video of it in use, having to wash the screen and having to wait for each part of the design to dry I thought I might be better off just getting some fabric pens or paints and some canvas items or tshirts for her. Has anyone done this?

I'm wondering if fabric pens or paint is better? Pens seem less messy! Some on Amazon came up which suggested using them on tshirts, bags and pillowcases. Has anyone washed such pillowcase and the design really stayed on?! Or am I setting us up for tears and disaster!!? I'm thinkig she would love to draw on canvas shoes but what if it ran in the rain?! Am I over thinking?!

Any advice on this from those in the know appreciatedI
TIA

Crafts 4 ALL Fabric Pens - Pack of 12 Permanent, Dual Tip Fabric Markers in Vibrant Colours - Paint Pens for Paper, Bags, Shoes & Clothes amzn.eu/d/f5uZ0Ej

Dd bought me these, in a bigger selection of colours, a few years ago and they're great.

They remain on the fabric after washing.

Hobbycraft do a great range of fabric blank items such as bags.

Brilliant, thanks for this. Great to know that they stay on after washing instead of just crossing fingers!!
