6yr old girl and vtech decision

Hi I was thinking about getting a vtech challenger laptop for Xmas for my 6 year old as I remember having something similar and will help with her learning but I’ve also seen a vtech secret diary and was wondering which one would be best to get?

My DD got the vtech secret diary for Xmas when she was 6 and absolutely loved it although it does seem to get mixed reviews. I don't think mine would have played with the vtech challenger laptop but only because already they have their own (very cheap, second hand) Chromebooks and kindles.

I looked at the laptop last year and it didn’t get great reviews. We went for the secret diary and it was a big hit
