Silverstone Lap of Lights - worth a visit?

Debating booking the Silverstone lap of lights this year. We thought about it last year but were still a little concerned about Covid and having to pull out at the last minute. Would people recommend it?

We really enjoyed it last year. The food is expensive but all part of the experience. The kids really enjoyed the indoor activities too such as curling and axe throwing. Optional ice skating too. However even if you just do the lap of lights it's good fun.

My kids are maybe a bit old? Just turned 8 and 11

No. Husband loves Silverstone and was so excited to see this. He took both DDs who love Christmas lights and fireworks so much (regularly drive around on Decembernights). All three came back deflated and said even if it was free next year they wouldn't go.
