just thought I’d share - toys for a pound website have got some really nice little stocking fillers in at the mo 😊

Just chucking this up the threads list as i picked up a suggestion for this company on here around this time last year agead of Christmas.

Look at the reviews. The reviews are saying they are taking their money, not sending the order or incomplete ones and not issuing refunds at the minute. I have ordered from them and even though my order isn't late, I can't get hold of anyone and haven't heard any details of despatch yet. I will let you know if my order does get to me in time, but wished I saw the negative reviews first as I may have lost my money. They are still taking orders though........

They were a great company, have ordered last year with no issues, so not sure why they have gone downhill. Exchange rate dip maybe?

They dont have stock but are taking orders anyway... I ordered the decor and party bag stuff for DS birthday and it was meant to be 1 week delivery it came over a month late and only TWO of over 50 items I ordered arrived as they didnt have the rest in stock and I then had to fight with them for a refund.

The company use to be good in the past but they have been taken over (their excuse for why they cant take orders was they are relocating to a new area) and cannot copy with demand anymore and is likely to go bancrupt soon at this rate.

@Iamboredandgoingforatwix you're not getting confused with Poundtoy are you? They've been having massive problems for months with orders not being delivered......I can't see any negative reviews anywhere for Toy for a Pound?

Oh you're right I DO mean PoundToy... apologies to Toys for a Pound its not slander I swear lol.

I always get those two mixed up... I haven't bought from Toys for a Pound this year as they sold out of the few things I wanted.

Hi everyone. Yes I did make a mistake there. It is Pound Toy that I've ordered from and has known issues. Thanks for correcting me. I was just trying to warn people as most of us can't afford to lose money right now.

Not sure about Toys for a Pound, but if the reviews are good I wish I ordered from them as I now have to re-buy stocking fillers.

If Pound Toy don't deliver or respond, I will go straight to trading standards. I looked on their site yesterday and they were offering Black Friday discounts ffs. Disgusting behaviour if they are not fulfilling current orders.
