Teepee tent, Argos do a good one that's stable and reasonably priced.

Are they walking? DS was 14 months his second Christmas and not walking. We got him a little ride on car and he used that to learn to walk. It had a seat that lifted up where he could keep his treasures (and usually the phone/keys/remote control)

My post should have read she will have just gone one at Christmas.

VTech 4 in 1 Alphabet Train which is currently reduced from £58 to £41.50 in Argos. I’ve bought this for an 18 month old who was obsessed with it and a 7 month old who is quickly becoming obsessed with it. It is very interactive and I highly recommend it.

If you have space - a ride on toy.

Otherwise most toys DD got when she was 1 were never really looked at, she preferred our kitchen drawers to them. Look for things saying 18mths+, that will be a lot more useful over the next year.

My DD’s two favourite toys at that age were her pull-along puppy which went almost everywhere with her, and a wooden trolley/walker which really helped her.

Big box with lots of smaller boxes wrapped up inside. Hours of entertainment.

Then a proper present like a scuttle bug

Mine loved peg puzzles at that age. Also baby doll buggy to push around
