B&M have changed their initial stockings to grey fur, swap/help thread

Thought I'd set this up just in case...

Bloody B&M, after running the same red velvet sacks and white topped velvet stockings for several years, have had the amazing idea to turn the white fur trim to grey. Super.

So any of us with new family additions will need to get the whole set new to match...or have an odd one out, which will irk me every time I see it!

Anyone who is looking to sell their last years sacks/stockings or swap this year, please comment below and hopefully between us, we can sort each other out!

Do they really all have to match? Surely your children are attached to the ones they have? My 30 yo DD still expects her Bugs Bunny stocking at Christmas.

That's what I mean though. They keep the red ones and any new babies get the grey ones.

We've got 5 stockings, and sacks all in this range. We just need one initial R stocking, (have found a sack already) and I'm sorry it irks you so much that I'd simply like them to match the other 10 items. I'm glad you're happy with the stockings you have 30 years on, I can't comment on my little one's, three decades in the future. This is a thread to help those of us who want to try and keep the range we already have to swap, and for those who can't find what they need as this year sells out. Just stating that you think it's pointless, is, well, pointless. Thanks :)

I know...I much prefer the white, but it will irritate me having 9 items that match then one that's off. So...do I sell all 9, probably for a higher value, and replace with the grey I don't like as much, and have a complete set.....or, hold out for the elusive R in white which may never materialise!

There's also an M sack and a second H stocking on eBay currently.

I've ended up buying the new style for my DS today. They're nowhere near as nice but I can't justify spending £11 from eBay on a £4 stocking.

I bought the matching sack too which is slightly nicer than the stocking but the embroidery looks naff on both tbh. They only had one of the letter I need so I panicked and bought them.

I wonder if people will start selling their white fur ones off and replacing with the grey. I'll be gutted if I see the one I need going for a reasonable price.
