What are your 8 year old boy.birthday 2 weeks after christmas aswell?

Will be 8 on his birthday

DS has his 9th birthday next month. He’s getting Gravitrax, Meccano and a basketball hoop. Not sure what he’s getting from grandparents and godparents but I’ve given them ideas of a tracing light board, kitchen chemistry set, board games and an RC car.
If he’s still into coding by Christmas time, we might get him a Sphero.

DD is getting a tv for her bedroom, she wants to be able to play with her switch on a big screen and watch films with her friends.
She’s also getting a basketball hoop and a telescope.

8yo and 5yo will probably be getting a Switch between them.

So far an oodie and maybe a clock that projects the time onto the wall

DS8 is getting a chrome book and case.

Then little bits including:

wimpy kid and captain underpants books

Ds (turns 8 just after Christmas) is getting:

A keyboard as he loves playing his grandparents organ
A sewing kit for his own Beaver/Cub badges
His very own pringles that he won't have to share
A block of climbing lessons

DS1 will be 8 1/2 this Christmas and is getting Lego Minecraft sets, Lego monster truck sets, a Nerf gun, plus books and stocking items.

Previous hits have been Gravitrax and Lego trains.

Following as my DS is 8 on 25th January!

Our biggest hit last year was a Swiss Army knife and whittling book. He's spent hours whittling wood....

Think it was the Spartan knife.

(He's had very strict instructions, also backed up with Cubs, never deviated from the rules!)

Dd is 8 just before Christmas and is getting a
Switch Lite (maybe) he doesn’t seem at all interested though so might leave that for another year.
