So sorry for yet another one of those threads Blush

We've decided to get DS a bike for Christmas (he's quite tall so needs to be a correct one for his height) and I picked up a couple Lego sets (mixer truck and a tractor) just from the local supermarket when they were having a big clearance sale.

We still have some budget left over but I'm hoping someone can inspire me for ideas as I'll need to let family know ideas.

He loves Lego, diggers/anything construction, tractors and building things.

He isn't really into anything like character (if that makes sense - he isn't that bothered about peppa, marvel, paw patrol, etc)

Thank you so much! Grin

Ds had his birthday at the end of September and he’s getting a Kinetic sand construction box, wigwam, Playmobil (he’s not into Lego….yet), Kid Knex and Hungry Hippos. I know that grandparents are getting him dressing up clothes and the Mr Men library.
I haven’t thought properly about what to get him for Christmas yet, but DH has mentioned a swing set and I think he’d be about the right age for a marble run.

What about tickets to Diggerland?

ABlindAssassin · 30/08/2022 12:25

Gravitrax or a marble run

You can't go wrong with a puzzle! My ds is 4 in January and we are doing lego, a fire kids tablet (he uses an old phone for watching numberblox etc), a few craft bits, and I'm afraid also a switch as a surprise joint gift with dp - they love playing Mario and sonic but we only have laptops and a Nintendo ds, games on the big tv will be loved i think. It's been a very tough & traumatic year so I'm spoiling them, rightly or wrongly. Also a weighted blanket as he still doesn't sleep through the night...

DS is 4.5. He’s already asked for a Kindle Fire, Lego, Bakugan. I’ll add arts stuff like the Crayola glitter dots and kinetic sand and some games like Cluedo Junior. He’s got an older brother so likes older toys if that makes sense

Magnatiles. We got some of the Amazon dupes for His 4th birthday. He is 4.5 now and they honestly still get played with every day. Going to get some more for Xmas so he can do bigger creations.

Ds is 3 but will be loser to 4 come Christmas.
Playmobil is great for vehicles & construction. He plays with them a lot, as does his older brother still. Marble run is good.

Ds is getting Playmobil take along fire station, fire truck, small Lego set, Playmobil vehicle (not sure which yet) and that’s it so far.

Kapla, kinetic sand, fossil dig kit, jigsaws, books, colouring stuff

@Fivemoreminutes1 I know it's not your thread, but just thought I'd say, I was looking at the kinetic sand construction set for my nephew and a lot of the reviews I looked at said it didn't come with enough sand for the set, so may be worth picking up an extra pack of the sand so there's no disappointment on Xmas day. Other than that the set looks great fun, the extra sand took me too over budget though so not getting it for my nephew

@17caterpillars1mouse Thanks so much for the heads up, I really appreciate that
