Christmas stockings

Inspiration needed! What do you use to hang yours?

Ours have loops sewn on and I just sellotape them to the mantlepiece. The tape is hidden under the garland I hang.

We have hooks like these

I have a string of silver stars with fairy lights and pegs attached. I hang 5 stockings. No idea where I bought it but it'a a few years olds!

I take them down on Xmas eve to fill and then leave them under the tree.

I have hooks that are flat discs that sit on the unit with hooks underneath.

Green Christmasy coloured jute string to hang stockings on their bedroom door handle. Our stove is too hot to hang stuff over.

We have these cast iron stocking holders, I love them

I have the same as @minipie as they are discreet.

Command hooks, I use them for everything.

I need these.

Those are lovely.

My DC are in their 20s , the stockings hold their presents (which are usually very small and £ so very few )
They have gorgeous tapestry with lights stockings , just propped up against something and the lights off as they wake them up.!

When they were little , stockings were to keep them quiet at 5am.
Now you won't get them awake before 9am and nothing happens before coffee

Just to answer the question though - nothing hanging or the cats would be swinging on them

Currently it has 2 willow tree figurines, a vase of flowers & a baby monitor camera on it.
It also has 2 coasters on it that you can't see with DD1's footprint on it.

In the winter I tend to swap round and have 2 glass candle holders where the figures are and then flowers or a big chunky scented candle in the middle. (You can see the candle holders in the Christmas pic)

I just can't get mine right.

I gave up on stockings years ago as I couldn’t be bothered squishing things in. Instead I use Christmas sacks that Santa leaves at the bedroom door.
