Treasure X recommendations

I keep seeing ‘Treasure X’ being recommended so I’d like to get some for my 7yo DS however I have had a look online and don’t know where to start! He’s never had any before.

I can see blocks that you dig to find little plastic treasures but they seem very expensive for what you get. And larger sets - I can’t work out if these have long-term play value?

Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

We didn’t get much play value out of these, my DS8 has had a few of them over the years (when they have been on reduction at Asda) He found the arms kept falling off so found them frustrating .

My son loves treasure X. We have had a few over the years. This year he is getting the large robot. It’s £39.99 at the moment but I’m hoping I can get it reduced at some point.
They are quite overpriced for what they are but my DS 8 loves them and it’s what he has asked for.

This is the robot he’s having this year:

This set we had previously and he did play with it a lot more than some of the others he has had but I don’t think we paid anywhere near this current price:

Thank you both.

Yes I couldn’t work out what the RRP of the items should be; Amazon is selling the set of three little dig sets for £44 which sounds too much for three little figures at the end?!

I think he’d love the robot or tomb but that is far too expensive! He isn’t interested in dinos or minecraft which seem to be current and more reasonably priced.

Treasure X used to have good deals on Amazon but nothing this year just over inflated prices.

My boys are now nearly 8yrs and 12yrs both still love treasure X and I used to buy any of if on offer knowing it was a winner.

Havent seen ang offers at all recently but know argos, smyths and the entertainer sell it and I saw a couple bits in Asda the other day too.

Mine like doing you tube videos on the too (paperball & pentube lite is their channel on kids YouTube if that helps). My eldest has just made a new video on treasure x pirate ship not sure he has loaded it to the channel yet though. (That was one of my half price bargain finds about 8 months ago and my mum brought and kept for his bday)

Thank you, I’ll have a look.

Argos had the coffin ones on sale near me recently for £6 usually £12+. My DS likes these. He's also had a couple of the dig ones (they usually come up for £8/9 on Amazon).

I've got him the lab monster one for Christmas. He has the dinosaur and pterodactyl one already and we get quite a lot of play value out of them so I don't mind.

(DH wants to get the pirate ship but I'm resisting as it's a big toy to store after).
