Anyone recommend me a decent BMX for DS? Needs to cost no more than £200.

What age?
My son has a Dallingridge Jetset - he's 6.
It was around £160/£170 I think. When we researched them last month there wasn't much for under £200 so we just went with one which we knew he would like the look of. His is multi coloured chrome!

DS will be 11. Love the look of the chrome ones

Ds7 has a Mafia bike Kush 1 bmx. It’s a good entry one and he loves it. He & DH have customised a bit with tyres and paint but it’s a good starting bmx. DH has one too (old duffer but still loves to ride).

Does he want it for skateparks etc or racing?
For one to do tricks and jumps he’ll maybe still be an 18” wheel.

sorry just realised this thread is a month old - was searching for a thread and this came up 😆

The key is the weight, you want it as light as your budget will allow, I made the mistake of buying a heavy one and we had to replace within a month as he was really limited with what he could do with it. I'm sorry I can't remember for the life of me what weight was recommended to my 11 year old, but I'm sure a Google will explain.
