Dc would like one. It's beyond my budget unless there's some good deals. When are deals usually about? What's the best package to buy etc? Thank you ☺️

I’m on the lookout for one of these too - I’m hoping there might be some deals for Black Friday.

Have a look on Facebook marketplace. You can sometimes get ones that have barely been touched for a fraction of the price

Switch lite maybe? They don't plug into tv but plays most games just not the interactive ones like just dance. They on amazon fir about 180?

In my experience the deals they go on are the same price but with games included.
So the cost doesn't go down but you get extras.
I went with the switch lite in the end for both my boys.

Just be careful on marketplace, my FB was full of friends and friends of friends being scammed last year with trying to buy switches.

If you want to hook it up to the TV and play against their friends you need to full version. If your DC is happy just playing on the console then the lite version is good. You could always upgrade at a later date if they want to use it more.

As others have said they don’t really go down in costs. I made my DD wait 3 years before I could afford one and was sure it wasn’t a passing phase for her.

EBay is probably worth trying
