For me it's got to be Mary's Boy Child by Boney M! It makes me smile and makes me want to dance and I have been known to play it on the car in summer!

Have a Holly Jolly Christmas. We went to New York last December and that song was playing everywhere.

Am I the only one who can't bear it? It sounds so mournful. I do love most of the others mentioned here, especially A Winter's Tale (although it wasn't written as a Christmas song) David Essex was always my heart-throb. I also love Carol Of The Bells.

And I play Carol of the Bells every night in the kitchen in December when I'm pottering with dinner. It's so calming.
