Help. I like to be thoughtful and intentional with my gift giving but at a loss when it comes to my godson. Sadly I’m NC with his parents so can’t ask them. I still post a gift for birthday and Xmas each year and in the past have got a Lego advent calendar, sweets, wallet with money in and recently have bought him a few bits for use at secondary school such as stationary and pencil case etc.
what are 11th at olds into? My budget is a max of £25 x

Not sure why there’s a typo. He’s 11 years old, not 11 months x

Gravitrax, geomag, Lego technic, book token, really good pens… All things my child would like at that age. Very much depends what he’s into though. An Amazon voucher and big tube of smarties are a safe bet!

Ooh I’ll have a look at the first two things you mentioned. I’ve not heard of those, Thankyou. Yes Amazon voucher was also on my mind as an option, that could be plan B.x

Why are you NC with the parents?

Why dont you know what the kid like? (I assume hes not in your life or you would)

If your NC the kid and his parents he probably isn't even getting the things you send, it would make no sense for the parents to give gifts to the child across a boundry thats been deemed toxic and severed usually cut off families gifts are returned or donated.

Save your money... if you think the kid might come looking for you when he is older then put the money in a bank account for him to give to him when that day comes.

@mam0918 bit mean

How is it mean?

Its a 'bit mean' to go along with OP wasting money on something that likely is going straight to the charity shop.

Its deluded to think someone whose cut off and stopped you seeing the child is going to accept gifts for that child, thats not how 'no contact' works.

Love bombing the situation wont help anything but my advice of starting a bank account incase the child comes looking for you late is a wise choice.

Gravitrax etc suggested above are great gifts for boys, but my 11 year old would not appreciate them now. He would love anything sporty or vouchers for Xbox or Amazon. If you are unsure that he is receiving the gifts I would send him an old fashioned cheque. That way if it's not cashed you will know.

@mam0918 neither you or I have any idea why they’re nc. Maybe it’s the godparent who has been hurt by her godchild’s parents? Maybe it’s a wider family/friends issue?

The op asked for ideas for presents, not friendship advice.
